#7- Results Based Approaches to Program Logic Models and the Evaluation Matrix
A half-day, multi-level workshop facilitated by:
Harry Cummings, Ph.D., University of Guelph and Harry Cummings & Associates, Guelph ON

A results based approach is used to assess the resources, inputs, activities, outputs and outcomes of a program. Program Logic Model and Evaluation Matrix approaches are key components of this workshop. Participants will engage and learn from each other through active discussion and application of these evaluation tools. Small group discussions of case studies will serve to strengthen their skills in the development of results chains and evaluation matrices. This workshop is designed to help development practitioners and management increase their understanding of a systematic approach to evaluation. Consequently, the transferable skills gained from this workshop are invaluable to governments, non-government organizations, consultants and the development community.
